Singaporean twin tenors Jonathan and David Charles Tay return to Singapore from their musical adventures at the Manhattan School of Music, New York for an evening of Romantic music at the Arts House. Come and join them as they passionate and fun evening of music as they share their voices with you.

The brothers will begin the evening with a collection of English songs, starting with Ralph Vaughan William’s beautiful song cycle “On Wenlock Edge”, a collection of six songs set to the poetry of A.E. Housman for Tenor, Piano and String Quartet. David will be performing the whole cycle, accompanied by pianist Rachel Teoh, as well as the wonderful Artsylum String Quartet. Jonathan then carries on with more English romance, with songs by Vaughan Williams, Gerald Finzi and Roger Quilter, accompanied by much acclaimed pianist and conductor Valarie Wilson.

Violinist Edward Tan will then take the stage with “Partita for Solo Violin, Op. 12” by Vytaustas Barkauskas.

The twins will then end the evening with a celebration of Italian love songs and arias, with works by Tosti, Rossini, Cardillo and Verdi.
